CORPORATE ACTIVITIES

The "One Belt, One Road" Roadshow of China (Shaanxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Shaanxi Hong Kong Financial Cooperation Exchange, which was organised by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, and undertaken by Chinlink. The Roadshow brought together Shaanxi local government officials, representatives from both Hong Kong and Shaanxi financial institutions, The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies, Belt & Road Global Development Alliance and other members of the securities industry, creating an exchange platform around "One Belt, One Road" and Free Trade Zone opportunities for both Hong Kong and Shaanxi industries, and further enhancing the participants' knowledge of the latest economic development in Xi'an, so as facilitating good basis to explore new opportunities in the two regions.

It was honored to have Mr. Wei Zengjun, Vice-Governor of The People's Government of Shaanxi Province, to attend and give a speech at the Roadshow, and the participation and support by a number of government institutions including The General Office of the Shaanxi Provincial Government, The Financial Affairs Office of Shaanxi Provincial Government, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, Xi'an Customs, Shaanxi Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, People's Government of Xi'an Municipality and People's Government of Hanzhong Municipality. Mr. Li Weibin, Chairman of Chinlink, said, "We are very honored to jointly organise this Roadshow with the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce and other related units. Through this event, Hong Kong financial industry was able to explore the business opportunities from the 'One Belt, One Road' policy and the listing of the Free Trade Zone. The future of Xi'an, defined as another role of financial center to play, will be definitely a new treasure land for investment. Chinlink has been committed to focusing on Shaanxi, especially on Xi'an with its great potential. We have established innovative financial mode around the supply chain ecosystem to integrate logistics and business operations relying on financial services, so as to provide various customised financing solutions."

During the Roadshow, the Group and Zhong Jinlv Investment Holding Company Limited, a state-owned capital, held a signing ceremony for the capital injection into Chinlink Finance Lease Company Limited, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group at a gross investment amount of approximately RMB120 million. It also officially signed an agreement with Hanzhong City Hantai District Hanjiang Industrial Park Construction Investment Development Company Limited during the Roadshow relation to the capital injection into Shaanxi Chinlink Financial Guarantee Limited, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group at a gross investment amount of approximately RMB100 million.

Mr. Siu Wai Yip, Executive Director of Chinlink, said, "The Group was glad to finish two signing ceremonies at the Roadshow. It reflected a stronger business relationship between the Group and the Shaanxi enterprises. The economic development of Shaanxi Province is in a fast growing stage, we expect the capital injections will be beneficial to the financing guarantee business and speed up the expansion of the finance leasing business, thus enhancing the credit standing of these two companies. The Roadshow, held during 25-27 April 2017, was an important event of the Chinlink · Shaanxi Hong Kong Financial Cooperation Delegation. During the delegation, the guests visited the other major development districts, e.g. Xixian New Area Airport New City, the China (Shaanxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, etc., to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the latest economic development in Xi'an.
